Count Me In Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organisation with deductible gift recipient status working to improve access and equity in our local community where we all work and live. To achieve this, the key objective of Count Me In is to promote universal design and to provide excellence in access to everything that Australia and the state of South Australia has to give.

Our Mission

Count Me In’s mission is to provide optimum access to everything available in public spaces. Our goal is for the wider community to be designed and constructed with universal design principles, so that no one is excluded. This provides opportunities for all Australians to develop to their full potential, by providing full access to employment, transport, education and health. Our vision is not just about access to buildings and equipment but everything that exists in mainstream communities. As well as access for people with physical disabilities and/or limitations, universal design can create accessibility for the aged care sector, families, people with intellectual disability, mental illness, vision impairment and hearing impairment.
